Electronic control equipment

Electronic control equipment is used in lights designed to accommodate fluorescent, compact fluorescent or discharge lamps. Electronic control equipment can be integrated in the luminaire body or directly in the lamp, as with screw-in compact fluorescent lamps for instance.

Electronic control equipment provides the following benefits:

Environmentally sound lighting thanks to:
  • Energy savings of approx. 20-25% as compared to
        conventional control equipment
  • Approx. 50% longer service life
  • Approx. 30% less lamp waste

    Healthier lighting thanks to:
  • Quieter, no-flicker light
  • No buzzing noise when on
  • Lower magnetic field strength

Greater comfort and convenience thanks to:
  • No flickering when switched on
  • Automatically switching off at the end of the lamp's service life
  • The fact that they can be dimmed

The above-mentioned benefits make electronic control equipment ideal for rooms requiring long periods of illumination, such as studies and hallways.
