Premiere: Louis Poulsen is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the AJ lights from Arne Jacobsen with a new version of the classic in five new colours based on the architect's colour concept. The special trait of his design, the clear, almost puristic shape, can be seen in all his work, whether buildings, furniture or lighting. The AJ lighting range perfectly reflects Arne Jacobsen's purist approach. Designed in 1960, the asymmetric conical shape of the luminaires clearly delimits the light. Or in other words: you can imagine the light before you even switch on the luminaires as the direction has already been specified in the design. The shade can be swivelled and the light follows the shape. |
